Privacy Policy

1. Our roles

Each registered church controls the ministry and member information placed in its tenant workspace. Kintah LLC operates the platform and processes tenant information on the church’s instructions while controlling platform account, billing, security, and service-operation data.

2. Information collected

Depending on your relationship with a church, information may include names, contact details, household and membership records, attendance, event registrations, volunteer assignments, ministry or small-group participation, communications, public inquiries, donation designations and history, account credentials, device and security logs, social-media metrics, and content you submit.

Pastoral-care and prayer information may be especially sensitive. Churches should collect only what is necessary and restrict access to authorized pastoral personnel.

3. Donations and subscriptions

Stripe processes card and banking information for church donations, church connected accounts, and platform subscriptions. The application stores transaction identifiers, status, amount, donor contact details, designation, and receipt information, but is not intended to store complete payment-card numbers. Stripe’s own privacy terms apply to its processing.

4. How information is used

Information is used to operate church programs; maintain membership and attendance records; coordinate care, groups, volunteers, events, and communications; process donations and receipts; provide tenant administration and support; protect accounts; improve reliability; comply with law; synchronize authorized social accounts; and generate permission-filtered church analytics.

5. Artificial intelligence

Authorized church users may ask an AI analyst to evaluate tenant data. The application builds a role-filtered context and excludes social access tokens and confidential pastoral note text. AI output may be incomplete or incorrect and must not replace pastoral judgment, professional advice, safeguarding procedures, or emergency services.

6. Service providers and disclosures

Information may be processed by hosting, database, storage, email, payment, security, analytics, AI, and social-network providers only as needed to provide the service. Information may also be disclosed to comply with law, protect people or systems, investigate abuse, complete a business transaction, or with the individual’s direction. The Platform does not sell church member data.

7. Children and youth ministry

Churches are responsible for obtaining appropriate parent or guardian permissions and following applicable child-protection and privacy requirements. Children should not independently create platform accounts or submit sensitive information unless permitted by the church and applicable law.

8. Cookies and logs

The service uses essential session, security, CSRF-protection, and preference technologies. Server logs may record IP address, browser details, requested pages, timestamps, and security events. Additional analytics or advertising technologies should not be enabled without updating this policy and implementing any consent required by law.

9. Retention and security

Records are retained for ministry, tax, accounting, safeguarding, legal, and operational needs according to church and platform retention practices. Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. Users must protect credentials and report suspected compromise promptly.

10. Your choices and requests

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of personal information where applicable. Contact the Church first for church-controlled records. Contact the Platform at support@kintah.com for platform account, subscription, or security data. Some records may be retained when required for tax, legal, fraud-prevention, safeguarding, or legitimate ministry purposes.

11. Changes and contact

This policy may be updated as services or legal obligations change. Material updates will be posted or otherwise communicated where appropriate. Platform inquiries may be sent to support@kintah.com.
