Terms of Use

These Terms govern access to MinistryOS™, its church tenant websites, member portals, donation pages, media features, communications, and related services. By using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you act for a church, you represent that you are authorized to bind that church.
1. Christian ministry context
The service supports Christian churches in administration, worship, discipleship, community, pastoral care, generosity, and outreach. It is a technology service and does not establish doctrine, ordain leaders, provide counseling, or replace a church’s governance, safeguarding, pastoral, financial, or legal responsibilities.
2. Accounts and authorized use
Users must provide accurate information, maintain secure credentials, use only their assigned church tenant, and follow role restrictions. Church administrators are responsible for authorized users, permissions, content, retention practices, and promptly removing access that is no longer appropriate.
3. Acceptable use
You may not violate law; harm, exploit, harass, or impersonate others; upload malware; bypass security or tenant boundaries; scrape or overload the service; misuse personal or pastoral information; infringe intellectual property; send unlawful or unsolicited messages; publish content without permission; or use the service for fraud, discrimination, abuse, or exploitation.
4. Church content and permissions
Churches retain ownership of their tenant content and grant the Platform the limited rights needed to host, secure, process, back up, transmit, and display it. Churches must have appropriate rights and consents for logos, photographs, sermons, music, livestreams, member information, children’s information, social posts, and other uploaded material.
5. Donations and payments
Donations are made to the identified church and processed through that church’s Stripe connected account. The Platform may retain the disclosed platform transaction fee. Churches are responsible for fund designations, charitable status, receipts, refunds, tax reporting, and lawful use of contributions. Unless the receiving church states otherwise or law requires, completed charitable donations are generally final.
5A. Church store purchases
Books and religious items are sold by the identified church through its Stripe connected account. The church sets prices, availability, pickup instructions, typical U.S. delivery charges, sales-tax settings, fulfillment, returns, and customer support. Depending on the church’s subscription plan, a platform fee of up to 1.25% may apply to the complete store charge, in addition to Stripe processing fees. Product descriptions and inventory are provided by the church. Purchasers should review the church’s store return policy and contact the church regarding damaged, incorrect, delayed, or returnable items.
6. Social media and third parties
Church users may connect third-party accounts and direct the service to synchronize or publish content. The church is responsible for authorization, accuracy, intellectual-property rights, platform rules, token security, and reviewing publication results. Stripe, social networks, cloud providers, and linked sites have separate terms and may change or discontinue their services.
7. AI features
AI-generated analysis is informational and may contain errors or omissions. Users must verify important conclusions and must not rely on AI for emergency response, diagnosis, legal or tax advice, safeguarding decisions, employment decisions, or confidential pastoral judgments.
8. Intellectual property
The Platform software, interface, documentation, and platform branding are owned by Kintah LLC or its licensors. Subject to the EULA, users receive a limited right to use the service. No right is granted to copy, resell, reverse engineer, remove notices from, or create unauthorized derivative services from the platform.
9. Availability and disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available” to the maximum extent permitted by law. Availability, uninterrupted operation, error-free content, third-party integrations, and preservation of every communication are not guaranteed. Churches should maintain appropriate operational procedures and exports or backups required by their governance.
10. Suspension and termination
Access may be limited or suspended for nonpayment, security risk, legal requirement, abuse, or material violation. Churches may discontinue use subject to subscription and data-export terms. Provisions concerning ownership, confidentiality, payment, disclaimers, and responsibility survive termination where applicable.
11. Liability and law
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither the Platform nor a participating church is liable for indirect, special, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Any mandatory rights under applicable law remain unaffected. Dispute venue, governing law, liability caps, arbitration, and church conciliation provisions should be finalized by qualified counsel for the Platform’s jurisdiction before production launch.
12. Changes and contact
Terms may be updated when services, provider requirements, or law change. Continued use after an effective update constitutes acceptance where permitted; material changes may require renewed acknowledgement. Contact support@kintah.com with platform questions.
